The sun was beaming down on the ground as the morning sky shimmered with the light of the summer. the shadows of the trees decreased in length as the sun rose each hour of the day as time progressed. The breeze was slightly cooler today, the summer was ending and that only meant one thing. Things would get tougher with the arrival of autumn and winter. But that wasn't much of a problem for her or her pack. Shiva was tall and muscular, she was born and raised in the Fierce dogs pack. The red coated doberman's fur shone like red silk in the light of the day as she trotted through the grass. Her posture was tall and proud, like it always was. Moving her vertical ears back and forth to listen for the sounds around her. She wasn't on a mission or anything like that but more of a patrol about and see what was going on. She felt like she needed to know if anything was new or not, if it didn't concern her or her pack then she had no trouble with it. Sniffing the ground to see if anyone or anything had passed through here recently. Hmm, maybe if something crossed her path, like a hare, she would do a spot of hunting. Back at home, in the abandoned building where her camp was settled, she found it a bit boring when there was nothing going on. She loved it when there was going to be a Trial of Rage or something thrilling like that. But sadly there wasn't, so here she was. The tall female had no problem running into anyone, and quite frankly, it would be fun if someone did. She missed a bit of fighting every now and then. All she could smell was the clearness of the air and the forest surrounding her. Shaking her body as she felt a slight tickle of probably some grass, she slowly moved on a few steps. She was taking her time, Shiva was in no rush to be anywhere.

Alpha drew up into the long grass. Her tan and brown fur danced in the spots of light as the wind moved the branches above and threw beams down onto the ground below. She had been hot on the trail of a deer that had crossed her path, but she abandoned it at once when she caught the scent of another canine. Now, she was looking out of a bush, her small black eyes the only thing noticeable from the leafy barrier as she watched a rust colored she- dog sniffing the ground. This area was neutral of course, she knew that. But this dog was way to close to her pack's forest, and she was a fierce dog. Alpha disliked fierce dogs very much, after she'd almost been killed by the pack's former Alpha. But she herself had avenged that battle, and she knew the pack must have a new Alpha. Judging from the smooth muscles moving under her fur, and her confident stride, she guessed she was it. Alpha slinked along the grass, determined to keep up, but not wanting to be seen. If this dog moved in on her territory, she would strike.

As she moved along the grass, taking her time. She kept her body tense, she knew where she was and she was rightful to be on the look out. Then again, if the unfortunate dog came along, she could have something to do. It had been a while since she had a bit of fun and fighting at the same time. The scent of the pack that lived here was increasingly overwhelming as she moved. It reminded her strongly of the time the former Alpha had fought this pack and had lost because of it. She remembered hearing the news and how it strongly hit her,and it sure left a scar of a reminder. She was confident of course, how could an Alpha not be? She didn't underestimate this pack but she knew they needed to be dealt with at some point. The wind in the grass tickled her ankles as she strode her way through, with the wind carried a scent. Every now and then it hit her nose but she wasn't sure if it was just a bit of fur in the bushes that had managed to snag and carry some scent on it still or if she could be watching. Well, There was only one way to find out if someone was following her. And what's best to get someone out of hiding? interfering with something they are very protective about. The territory. she didn't turn her head but she was expectant of at least someone to hopefully pop out. Moving forward slowly, she became very close to the border of the Northern pack's territory. What a pathetic excuse for a territory, at least her's had shelter and could actually have some potential out of it. She stopped where she was. She didn't cross the line but she was merely on it. Both front, rusty coloured, paws on the line. Standing tall as her muscles tensed, she was ready.

Alpha tensed. The Fierce Dog had stopped right at the border between her forest and theirs. Something about her movement and the look in her eyes said she knew that Alpha was there, and she wanted to bring out a confrontation. Alpha snarled quietly, her lips peeling back to reveal cruel, sharp fangs. If this dog wanted a fight, she could have one. She sprang out of hiding, knowing her massive size coming out of such a small hiding space would surprise this intruder. "What are you doing?" Alpha growled. She stood confidently, standing between the two territories. Not aggressive, but not making a move to leave either. Yet.

She swiveled one of her ears round when she heard the little snarl of a dog. A deep one too, how interesting. Looks like this might be more fun than she thought. A sound of leaves moving when she heard the footsteps of what sounded like a surprisingly confident dog. Not a small one too, despite the fact they were hiding well. As she heard the dog speak the presence of a voice sounded in her ears, reminding her of who it was. Turning around slowly she started to speak " my, my you hide well for such an... over-sized dog like yourself" Her tone was serious but she meant it as a bit of humor for herself. Standing tall she looked at the familiar face. " I'm surprised you're still alive to be quite honest, but it's nice to see a familiar face again " she said sarcastically. She took her time answering the Alpha's question. Alpha stood her ground, not even budging one paw as she held her head high. " oh, you know just thought i'd see how my favorite dog was doing. Plus i thought i'd go for a wider range of hunting instead of the city." she said in a light tone, but she didn't mean it so lightly at all. Alpha knew this dog was uncomfortable with her being here and it was entertaining to be honest. The fact she was nervous about her being here says a lot.

Alpha snarled. "How dare you?" this forest belongs to the Northern Pack! You and your Fierce Dogs will never fill this forest with your savagery." She planted a paw closer, knowing that she'd lost her temper. "Leave. Now. Whoever you are, I don't care."

She shook her head slowly and laughed. This dog thought she could just scare her away that easily. " Why do i want a forest? i basically own a city " she said as she chuckled. This forest can burn to the ground for all she cared. Along with the Northern Pack dogs that squatted here in this miserable shrubbery. " Oooh, did i not introduce myself? " she looked at her as she stood taller. " I'm Alpha " she greeted herself as she raised her head. This 'Alpha' was surprising considering the trouble she had caused for her pack. She didn't budge from where she was stood. Alpha didn't show any signs of anger at all but this dog opposite her on the other hand, woo they were not having such a fun time. " That's not happening darling, see i'm a reasonable dog and you are asking a lot from someone who is technically not crossing your line " She directed her head to the line behind her before giving her a smug smile as she looked back to meet her dark hazel gaze with the Alpha stood before her.

Alpha growled. "Just remember, don't cross the line. Or I will tackle you, and drive you away myself." She turned to walk away, leaving her back exposed. She realized this a moment too late, however.

She laughed when she threatened her, like she could ever do such a thing. She watched as she turned to leave with a moody growl. Her anger seemed to get the better of her, she had left her most vulnerable point open and right for the attack. It was just a calling, how could anyone not put this dog out of their misery at this point. She growled and then leaped forward, he long and muscular legs allowed her to spring forward and clamp her deathly bite onto the sad creature. Her mood from calm to anger and rage switched in a blink of an eye. The dog was large just like her but her jaws and body was built for fighting. Alpha sunk her white, now red, teeth into the dogs sandy coloured fur. A deep growl released from her mouth as she gripped on. She used her neck to then attempt to at least move the dog unsteady on her paws. letting go she growled and snarled once more. her head was lower in a position whe she could be ready for her to fight back and to keep her neck shielded form her. " Nobody threatens me! " she barked aggressively. her claws were dug deep within the soil and her back legs were far apart so she could keep her self steady and seem larger. Her snout was wrinkled and her teeth were like a row of death, each one covered in blood.

Alpha let out a howl of pain as the Fierce Dogs teeth sunk into her flesh. Letting out a ferocious battle cry, she loomed up onto her hind legs and snarled. With one massive movement, she thudded her massive paws down on the she-dogs back. Holding her down, she managed to score a bite onto her flank. With a growl through her teeth, she replied to the doberman. "I'll threaten any dog that threatens my pack! Especially a Fierce Dog!" She felt blank rage roar in her ears. She bit down even harder.

She landed on the ground with a thud as She was pinned with strength. She was on her stomach and her back was now exposed. She felt the teeth of the Alpha sink into her flesh. She growled in pain and in rage. As she struggled the dog that clamped her jaws onto her was deepening her teeth by the second. She needed to do something, out of all her power she dug her claws into the soil and pushed herself off the ground so she could throw the dog off of her. Letting out a battle cry of effort to push the dog off as she moved, She kicked her back legs so she could hopefully knock her back legs and unsteady her balance. (ok no worries)
